Tourism research and teaching is integrated into the Center for Regional Economic Development (CRED) via the Tourism research unit. As an interdisciplinary research unit it deals with tourism issues with a broad economic perspective whereby taking into account other relevant aspects and disciplines. Furthermore, it is the point of contact for questions concerning tourism and regional economic development as well as applied research and services.
